1973 Arctic Cat FORMULA II ice oval racer - meticulously restored snowmobile - one of 200. Model Formula II, Serial 3089213, Kawasaki engine T7A 290RX, This machine is an example of the low-slung, minimalist, lightweight MOD 1 racer of the era. Unique to this one-year-only model are lightweight magnesium & aluminum components, cable-actuated steering system, engine gear -reduction, and a shrink-wrap hood design. Only 200 were produced. Recently, it received a meticulous restoration by renowned Formula II expert, Gary Pangrazzi. The engine was disassembled for sandblasting. Crankshaft seals and gaskets were replaced. Pistons were good. Good compression and new heads installed. However, the engine was never fired, nor fuel added. Still, "ready to fire up".
