1974 Sno-Jet Thunder Jet 340 - vintage racing snowmobile. This example is unique because it includes its original airbox and carburetors (in a separate box). When was the last time you saw a Thunder Jet factory airbox? Correct "XA" 340 engine (rebuilt), CDI box, clutches, skis, headlight, track, belly pan, aluminum jackshaft, chrome handlebars & controls in excellent condition, running board strips, and the snow flap. Note that the machine has single exhaust. This was how they came from the factory - ready for stock class racers. This racing model epitomizes the glory days of competitive oval snowmobile racing, when most all manufacturers spent big $ and pushed hard to win on Sunday so as to drive sales of their consumer sleds that next week.
