1977 Rupp Nitro 250, Serial Number: 7602057. This 1977 Rupp Nitro 250 snowmobile is reported to be in very clean original condition. This 1977 Nitro 250 is powered by a twin-cylinder liquid-cooled 248cc Xenoah G25-BWR engine equipped with dual Mikuni carburetors and twin tuned exhaust. The engine has spark, good compression and rolls over freely. The tunnel appears to be straight. The hood looks excellent cosmetically but there appears to have been fiberglass reinforcement added to the lower portion of the inside of the hood and the hood may have been repainted. This repair is not noticeable from the outside. There is a small crack in the hood at the base of the left side of the windshield. The black plastic dash panel is cracked at the point where the recoil starting handle rests. The skis have the original chrome plated finish and there is one spot of rust on the top of the left ski. The black vinyl seat is in excellent condition. The dash features a 100 mph speedometer/odometer showing 860 miles, a 10,000 rpm tachometer and an engine temperature gauge. A Rupp snowflap is in place, and the tail lamp and rear chrome grab bar are in excellent condition. The track shows no wear and the suspension is rust-free. This sale will include an NOS unfinished hood (no graphics, vents, etc.) This snowmobile has been in covered storage for several seasons and will need routine maintenance. The registration card is not available.
